About NOMA
Production Facilities - Japan
NOMA Bearing Corporation (Izumoto Seiko Co., LTD) has been manufacturing NOMA brand ball bearings in Japan since 1948. Our specialty has been the design and manufacture of ABEC-1 and ABEC-3 precision ball bearings up to a 110 mm (over 4") outside diameter. Over the past 50+ years, NOMA bearings have earned the reputation for setting the standard in the bearing industry for the lowest friction and vibration, quietest operation, and longest life.
NOMA world-class quality is ensured through our installed manufacturing excellence in areas such as automatic cold roll forming lines for bearing rings, fully automatic CNC turning machines, and in-line automatic gauging.
Production Facilities - China
In addition to our traditional line of Japanese bearings, NOMA also offers a complete line of economical radial ball bearings from China. NOMA Chinese radial ball bearing are the equal of any in the world and are manufactured to ABMA standard ABEC-1 precision.
Our Chinese sources are privately owned companies that have been carefully selected by NOMA through an extensive audit process conducted by our Quality Control and Manufacturing Engineering experts. Key NOMA selection criteria included ISO 9002 registration, state-of-the-art ball bearing manufacturing techniques, clean room assembly and inspection facilities, and the ability to meet critical NOMA logistical requirements for product delivery and communications.
NOMA USA Facilities - Quality Assurance
The NOMA Bearing Corporation facility in Gardena, CA is the final step in ensuring we deliver a world class quality bearing product. Our USA facility allows us to provide our customers maximum flexibility in their selection of the exact end-variant bearing configuration required with essentially off-the-shelf product availability .
Both our Japanese and Chinese bearings are imported from the factory without grease, seals or markings. Upon arrival at the NOMA facility in Gardena, CA, each bearing is washed in automated machinery, grease lubricated, capped with rubber seals or metal shields, and then laser marked for identification, all per customer specifications. Finally, the bearings are thoroughly tested for dimensional conformance, noise and vibration, and internal radial clearance using the latest test equipment and SQC procedures per the NOMA ISO 9002 registered quality systems. A written quality assurance report is available upon request for each shipment of bearings to customers.
No matter what bearing specifications your applications require, NOMA provides ball bearings you can trust. For more information, please contact NOMA today.
