Ball Bearing Product Catalog

Please note: We are constantly expanding our product line to meet the changing demands of our customers, including the addition of  items such as special 6200 series bearings with inch dimension bores, custom designed bearings for agricultural applications, and housings for mounted bearings. If you do not see what you are looking for below, please contact IKS. We may have it!

R Series, single row, radial, inch dimension bearings
The R series, single row, radial, inch dimension bearings are available from 3/16 inch bore through 1 1/2 inch bore size. The conrad construction of the R series enables these bearings to take thrust as well as radial load. The ball complement design and selection of retainers permits use of this series in high speed motor applications. R series bearings are produced open, shielded or sealed. Shielded and sealed bearings are slightly wider as noted in the dimensional table. This series is available in 440C stainless steel.

600 Series Extra Small Metric Bearings
The 600 series, extra small metric bearings are produced in a limited number of sizes ranging from 4 mm bore through 9 mm bore size. These bearings are capable of sustaining radial, thrust or combined loads in proportion to the small shafts for which they are designed. This series is produced open, shield ed, sealed or with various combinations of closure. These bearings are available in 440C stainless steel. Contact your IKS Sales Representative for availability.

6000 Series Extra Light Bearings
The 6000 series, extra light bearings were specifically designed for applications where space limitations are a primary consideration and shafts are relatively large. These bearings are capable of withstanding radial, thrust or combined loads within their basic load ratings. This series is produced open, shielded, sealed or with various combinations of closure. Snap ring grooves are an optional item. This series bearing is also available in 440C stainless steel.

6200 Series Light Series Ball Bearings
The 6200 light series designed with deep, close-contoured races offer a perfectly balanced bearing with the capacity to carry radial, thrust or combined loads. This series was specifically developed to provide maximum performance by means of precise ball complement selection. The 6200 series is produced open, shielded, sealed or with various combinations of closure. These bearings can be provided with a snap ring groove. Bearings in this series are available in 440C stainless steel.

6300 Series Light Series Ball Bearings
The 6300 medium series bearings is similar in function to the 6200 series bearing. This series is produced with heavier races and greater ball complement enabling the bearing to carry considerably greater radial, thrust and combined loads for a given bore size. This bearing is also capable of withstanding heavy shock loads. Bearings in this series are produced open, shielded, sealed or with various combinations of closure. Snap ring grooves are an optional item. This series is also available in 440C stainless steel.

6800 Series - For Limited Space Applications
The thin line 6800 series bearing was developed for applications where space limitations are of primary consideration. These bearings can accommodate relatively light radial, thrust or combined loads within their basic load ratings. This series is produced open, shielded, sealed or with various combinations of closure. The 6800 series is also available in 440C stainless steel.

6900 Series - For Limited Space Applications
The thin line 6900 series is similar in function to the 6800 series for use where space limitations are a factor. This series is produced with slightly heavier races and different ball complements enabling the bearing to carry moderately greater loads. This series is produced open, shielded, sealed or with various combination of closures. The 6900 series is also available in 440C stainless steel.

W200/W300 Series single row, wide type bearings
The W200 and W300 series, single row, wide type bearings are produced with 6200 and 6300 series standard bore and outer ring dimensions but the widths are the same as double row bearings of corresponding sizes. The wider width offers additional shaft support and greater contact with the housing, helping to reduce creeping and distortion of the housing bore. The wider width also provides a greater capacity for lubricants. These bearings are produced with seals or shields for effective grease retention and exclusion of foreign matter. Consult your IKS Sales Representative for availability.

5200 Series double row, angular contact bearings
The 5200 series double row, angular contact bearings are designed to meet the demand for increased axial and radial rigidity in applications where space is limited. These bearings are used in equipment where heavy radial loads, combined radial and thrust loads, and two directional loads are encountered. The non-filling slot allows higher speed operation. In addition, the angle of contact converges outside the bearing offering increased resistance to overturning moments. Bearings in this series are produced with shields or seals.

8000 & 87000 Series -"felt seal replacement" bearings
The 8000 and 87000 series designed with the inner ring extended on one side offers many application advantages especially when used in conjunction with other parts that provide added bearing protection. This type bearing is being utilized in equipment such as fractional horsepower motors, vacuum cleaners, small gear units and electrical tools. These bearings are produced with a single seal or seal and shield combination as noted per series designation.
Wide cup bearings, where the outer ring is extended flush with the inner ring on one side, are available in this series by noting the WC prefix. Snap ring grooves are an optional item.

88000 Series - an extended inner ring bearings
The 88000 series bearings is similar in function to the 8000 and 87000 series except that it features an extended inner ring on both sides to provide additional shaft sup port. When assembled with the proper press fit, the extra width of the inner ring provides a more firm grip on the shaft reducing the possibility of shaft creep. These bearings are produced with seals on both sides for effective grease retention and exclusion of foreign matter.
Wide cup bearings, where the outer ring is extended flush with the inner ring on one side, are available in this series by noting the WC prefix. Snap ring grooves are an optional item.

13300 & 1200 Series double row, self-aligning bearings
The 13300 and 1200 series double row, self-aligning bearings are designed to function in applications where severe misalignment exists. The spherical construction of the outer raceway allows the ball complement to operate over a wide range of contact angles and to align itself accurately with the shaft and assembly without causing undue stress on the bearing members. Standard line bearings are produced with straight bores. Tapered bores are available upon request.
